First to the Rescue
Suddenly life changes! Progressively life worsens! Either way it happens, when we get into a jam or a pit, hope can grow dim. Faith can falter. Darkness can seem to consume all light.
No matter how little hope or faith, nor how immense the darkness, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17 NIV) When your cry goes out, your Savior is first on the scene, immediately present (because He was never away!) to rescue you from whatever the threat. You can entrust your life to Him, because He gave His life for you!
